We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to expand our telecom sector business, specifically within the prepaid market. This role is focused on acquiring new enterprise customers, particularly large telecom operators across Europe. The ideal candidate understands the structured and strategic approach required to engage and win business in this industry. They will excel at identifying opportunities, building relationships, and guiding prospects through a consultative sales process to successfully close deals.
- New Business Acquisition: Identify, engage, and convert new telecom operators into long-term partners, with a strong focus on prepaid business.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and challenges, positioning Alphacomm’s solutions as the best fit through a value-driven sales approach.
- Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, leveraging existing networks and establishing trust over time.
- Industry Expertise: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and prepaid industry developments to refine sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to tailor solutions that align with customer needs.
Job requirements
What you should bring to the table
- Experience: At least 5 years in business development or sales within the telecom industry, with a focus on enterprise accounts.
- Industry Network: Established connections within the telecom sector, with a preference for prepaid market experience.
- Sales Expertise: Proven success in consultative selling and complex deal-making, with the ability to manage and drive business in structured corporate environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strategic and goal-oriented mindset.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as German, French, or Spanish are a plus.
