At Alphacomm, we believe that buying digital products such as mobile top-ups, gift cards and other e-vouchers, should be just as easy as buying them in a store. We sell software as a service (SaaS) solutions which make it super easy to sell these products. We provide plug & play web shops, enable all relevant payment methods and eliminate payment fraud via our AI driven fraud protection.

Your challenge

We are on a journey to scale up. As a Business Development Manager, you play an important role in the execution of our growth strategy. You are responsible for establishing new business relationships with organizations across Europe. Typical customers are B2C organization that could sell digital products. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable going out to build business from scratch. This role provides the unique opportunity to play a key role in the growth of Alphacomm as a Fintech scale-up.


You will be doing

  • Focus on establishing new business with international B2C organizations in various industries such as Retail, E-commerce, Telecom, Airline, Hotel or other leisure organizations.
  • Work closely with Marketing and other departments to identify the most important leads.
  • Analyze trends and developments in the Retail market
  • Translate insights to action, resulting in landing new customers and revenue
  • Sell in a consultative way, win customer’s trust and convince them to use our solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships and make sure you know the desires and challenges of customers and prospects.
  • You are a true Alphacomm ambassador and you truly and embody our core values

Job requirements

What you should bring to the table

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development
  • You are a sales champion, always on the lookout for opportunities!
  • A bachelor or master degree in business or related field
  • Experience in selling to B2C industries such as Retail, E-commerce, Telecom, Airlines, Hotel etc.
  • Interest or experience in software/e-commerce is a plus.
  • You understand that sales cycles can take long, and you are capable of moving things forward.
  • Fluency in English. Any other language (i.e. German, French, Spanish) would be of great help.
  • You thrive in a fast moving, ambitious environment.
  • You are result driven, independent, and not afraid to take ownership of your business.
  • Customers describe you as a trusted advisor who know what he/she is talking about.
