Mid-Senior SQL Data Warehouse Developer

Your challenge:

As a DWH developer, you will participate in the definition, documentation, development, and implementation of data warehouse enhancements.

As a Mid-Senior SQL Data Warehouse Developer you:

• Design, uphold and maintain the DWH Data Model database systems and develop highly performant and secure structures such as staging areas, integrated data, data marts, cubes, and operational data stores.

• Complete ad hoc requests for research into and updating of data directly within the SQL Server.

• Ensure the efficiency and performance of data products, optimizing data pipelines and models for scalability.

• Support for debugging SQL problems and applications that are using SQL servers.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.

• Collaborate with developers in IT to drive/capture data requirements.

About you:

• In-depth experience in SQL Server to accomplish business objectives

• In-depth experience in ETL/Procedures/Scripts/Packages

• In-depth experience in SSIS/SSAS

• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving a variety of database issues including integrity, performance, workflows, and deadlocking

• Experience in VisualStudio

Nice to have

• Knowledge with SSRS, Power BI - nice to have.

• Analytical with strong attention to detail.

• Background in the financial, banking, or insurance sectors

• Familiarity with data security best practices.
