Your challenge

Alphacomm is on the hunt for talented and experienced PHP Developers to join our dynamic Reloads (Checkmaxx) product team. We need someone who can handle the crucial role in the development and maintenance of our innovative solution suite as we scale towards our goal of processing €1 billion in transaction value.

As the Developer for Reloads at Alphacomm you:

• Design, develop, document and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

• Collaborate within and across product teams to support the definition, design, and deployment of new features

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the solution

• Identify / fix bugs and performance bottlenecks in an efficient manner with little-to-no downtime

• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends; ensure you are gaining and sharing knowledge

• Work in Rotterdam, travel time from your home max. 60 minutes.
  

You will work in a cross functional scrum team where you are responsible for creating clean code with a huge business sense

• Integration of new solutions build or buy to our PaaS platform.

• Integrate our customer to our PaaS Platform and its products and services.

• Finding generic solutions which are reusable and can accommodate multiple customers

• Think about how our solutions can be improved and expanded.

• Be customer centric but also critical on thе customer needs.

• Be proactive in picking up new things to improve thе solutions we offer.

About you

• Ideally, you have a College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, but experience is more important. 

• You have a 100% match with our core values

• You are fluent in English

• You have experience with version management and love structured work

• Experience with backend development technologies and processes (additionally having front-end experience is a plus)

• You have at least 4-6 years experience in a similar position

• You embrace agile methodologies

• Proficient in PHP, Symfony, Silex, Doctrine, Composer, Bitbucket, Docker, AWS, GIT. Experience and certification in Pimcore framework is ideal.
  

You MUST live in The Netherlands (and are able to come to the office minimal 60% of the time, we feel nothing beats face to face contact ) AND have a visa to work here.
